PROJECT OVERVIEW

Flow Industrial Group was engaged by Ventia to complete civil refurbishment works to North Head Fine Screen Chamber. Our scope included removal of fine screen drum housing, removal of existing defective and debonded PVC liner and spalling concrete. The concrete structure was prepared, remediated and reprofile using SIKA construction products prior to installation of new PVC liner. New Humes ‘Plastiline’ PVC liner was installed to the fine screen concrete chamber with all the joints plastic welded and holiday tested for conformance.

Flow Industrial Group scope of works included:

• Confined space access provisions

• Removal of existing debonded liner

• Repair of spalling concrete areas within fine screen chamber

• Installation of new Humes ‘Plastiline’ PVC liner

• Plastic welding and holiday testing of newly installed liner

• Installation of protective coating to fine screen chamber external substrate in accordance with WSA201
