PROJECT OVERVIEW

Sydney Water engaged Flow Industrial Group to perform pipework modifications to the Intermittently Decanted Aerated Lagoon (IDAL) Tank No.1 at Penrith Water Recycling Plant (WRP).

The project scope included the following pipework modification activities:

  • Supply of custom GRP pipework and fittings procured from Germany

  • Installation of pipe breaks at 6 locations in the existing GRP pipework to allow for the removal of rags/solids from the plant’s process safely and efficiently

  • Installation of GRP pipework, couplings, and associated stainless steel grouted supports

Flow Industrial Group delivered the project successfully within the specified time.
