SERVICE: CONDITION ASSESSMENT & OVERHAUL OF CENTRIFUGE #1

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Flow Industrial Group was contracted to complete condition assessment, testing and overhaul refurbishment scope of works to centrifuge body, baffles, guard covers, lid and frame.

The centrifuge housing was in poor condition and required extensive sectional replacement to the bottom and top housing and replacement of internal baffles. Once repairs were completed to the centrifuge frame, housing and guards an EHB-SF protective coating system was applied in accordance with WSA201 and acoustic lining was installed as per manufacturers specifications.

Flow Industrial Group scope of works included:

• Deconstruction of top and bottom housing from base frame

• Grit blast to remove existing coating

• Weld repairs to top and bottom housing, installation of new baffles

• Onsite milling of centrifuge housing mounting plates

• Prepare of application of protective coating to top and bottom housing, covers & centrifuge frame in accordance with WSA201

• Installation of acoustic liner material to top and bottom housing

• Reinstallation of top and bottom housing and equipment covers to centrifuge frame
